Meaning of Micro Economics
Microeconomics is derived from two words micro & economics, the term 'micro' means 'small' or 'on a small scale'.Microeconomics is a branch of economics in which we study about economics on a small scale.On the other hand, we can say that Microeconomics is the part of economics concerned with single factors and the effects of individual decisions.

Definition of of Micro Economics
According to Boulding, "Microeconomics is the study of particular firm, particular household, individual price, wage, income, industry and particular commodity."

Meaning of Macro Economics
Macroeconomics is derived from two words macro & economics, the term 'macro' means 'large' or 'on a large scale'. So Macroeconomics is a branch of economics in which we study about economics on a large scale.On the other hand, we can say that Macroeconomics is the branch of economics concerned with large-scale or general economic factors, such as interest rates and national productivity.

Definition of of Macro Economics
Macroeconomics is the branch of economics that studies the behavior and performance of an economy as a whole. It focuses on the aggregate changes in the economy such as unemployment, growth rate, gross domestic product and inflation.

According to Culbertson, “Macro-economics is the theory of income, employment, prices and money”.
According to KE Boulding, “Macro-economics is that part of economics which studies the overall averages and aggregates of the system”.
